Fine Art as translated into present day, is not insurence that the art of photgraphy will be done in film. It suggests that digital works can be processed at bigger sizes .In my own technical experience I measured my camera settings and how I want to see the larger images inclusively by looking things like focus or being out of focus. Can I use grain in ways to make my digital images look like film. In addition as I a commercial artist I began to go out with my camera to places I have never been. Walking is healthy and my range of subjects and better seeing began to increase. Soon I had a volume of work that begame interesting and I do not seem to be able to stop producing images that I hope viewers will enjoy. My method of shooting serves my purposes and I have learned to let go of pretenses that can make one rigid. I just go all over looking and seeing in ways that bring me satsifaction. Usually I try something new and photoshop has given me the pleasure of painting over photographs or composing imagary as in painting over the top of abstract shots. I take each day as a gift and utilize my skills to fufill my spiritual needs and or try to pass on the knowledge to other photographs who need the help. I do get paid for my extra experience and I taailor the needs of the student on a one to one basis. Mentorship is a very positive thought and it requires collaboration. It does not always prove to be perfect as human nature dictates the outcome. one can only ad up the students and take a crossection of experience to tell how and who it can work for. some people are stuck and will never rise up to take the risks to grow. I need to learn what do to withdraw my emotions from that process. One should know that giving of ones time for exchange of money or favors is an output of equal time and respect. I demand the respect and tend to take on students who are respectful and and adventuresome. One of my more successful forays with a student has been Ron Jocsak portrait Photographer who has an extensive fine art library of photogrpahs. Ron was a geologist and now practices professional photography. . We are friends and often consult on the newest tech. Here are some works that are a bit different and interesting to me. Once I can polish the research notes of my thirst for knowledge I will put them on the sight in a disk which can be purchased. When one looks at Rons and others eaxamples it proves that this can be done. Not everyone will be perfect and like anything new it requires a professional approach from others. I am too close to it. It does succeed with some in teaching a whole person balanced outlook.
